Coffey boosts the Melbourne geotechnical team with the appointment of two Principals.
In response to the incredibly exciting and buoyant construction market in Victoria and South Australia Coffey has bought on two highly experienced geotechnical engineers in Peter Campi and Ondrej Synac. These senior appointments are also aligned with the growth strategy for the geotechnical engineering business in the region.

Peter brings over 20 years of experience as a geologist, engineering geologist, and geotechnical engineer to the team. He has spent over 10 years consulting on underground structures, including underground mines, civil infrastructure road/rail/water tunnels, and caverns and surface excavations. This experience has earned him in-depth expertise in delivering highly complex large-scale projects that demonstrate innovation and technical excellence.
Ondrej’s 20 plus years of experience across Europe, the UK and Australia has afforded him deep expertise and a wealth of knowledge in geotechnical design and construction. Ondrej values and delivers a high level in practicality in design, value engineering and always focuses on gaining a deep understanding of client and project needs.
