Fugro to play Key Role in Norway's coastal Highway Improvement Programme

The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA) has awarded Fugro a contract worth 111 million NOK for environmental measurements in connection with the planned Coastal Highway (Route E39) that will run from the South of Norway (Kristiansand), along the west coast and into central Norway (Trondheim). This is probably the largest contract of its kind to date in Norway.

Cimic’s CPB Contractors wins Bruce Highway Upgrade Section C

Cimic Group’s construction company, CPB Contractors, has been selected by Queensland’s Department of Transport and Main Roads to construct Section C: Traveston to Woondum, of the Bruce Highway - Cooroy to Curra upgrade in Queensland. The construct only contract will generate revenue of approximately $160 million for CPB Contractors. The Section C project will deliver approximately 10.5km of new, 4-lane divided highway, including seven bridge structures, on a new and improved alignment between Traveston and Woondum, just south of Gympie.

Civil Engineers recognised in Forbes 30 under 30 List for Industry

Parsons celebrates Groundbreaking for Highway 53 Relocation Project

Parsons is pleased to announce that the 3 mi  long; a new interchange at Highway 53/Highway 135; relocation of utilities and the Mesabi Trail; and a Parsons-designed 1,100‑ft bridge across the decommissioned Rouchleau iron ore mining pit. Once completed, the bridge will be the state’s tallest, with piers higher than 180 ft.

Parsons wins Shindagha Corridor Project in Dubai

Parsons announced that it was recently awarded a consultancy services contract for the improvement of the Shindagha Corridor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Parsons’ services will include the preliminary concept study, preliminary design, final design, tender documentation, and construction supervision.
