Sotkamo Silver announces Extension of Agreement with ABB Oy

Sotkamo Silver is delighted to announce that the agreement with ABB Oy concerning sales of technology, has been extended until June 30th 2017. The agreement covers engineering, design, delivery and supply of electrification, automation and instrumentation. The estimated value of the deliveries are about 5 million euro. The value of the supply financing is dependent on the value of the delivery.

Changes in Skanska Senior Executive Team and new Business Unit President Skanska Sweden

The Skanska Senior Executive Team will make several changes to, among other things, further take advantage of the international experience and competence within Skanska.

Roman Wieczorek, today responsible for our construction units in Central Europe, will leave Skanska as he has decided to end his professional career. Roman has worked for Skanska for 18 years, the last seven years as a member of the Senior Executive Team.

Herrenknecht: HDD Long Distance Record in Scandinavia - Top Performance at minus 27 Degrees Celsius

Top performances can be achieved with the trenchless installation method, even in icy temperatures well below the freezing point. A Swedish drilling team demonstrated this last winter. Using a horizontal drilling rig from Herrenknecht, the team installed three pipelines under a frozen lake within a very short period of time and as a pleasant side effect – set a Scandinavian long distance record.
