Porr wins first Tunnel Tender in Norway

Porr Nordic Construction Norge (PNC Norge) has been awarded a tender by Nordland Fylkeskommune/Statens vegvesen to build a 5.5km-long stretch of County Road 17 in the county of Nordland. The road is set to run through two tunnels. The order is worth around NOK 340m (= EUR 36.3m).

Update on Aker Solutions' MMO Business in Norway

Statoil ASA announced contract awards for maintenance and modifications services work offshore Norway. Five companies, including Aker Solutions, were awarded framework competition contracts spanning ten years where one or more of the companies may be asked to bid on standalone maintenance and modifications assignments at Statoil-operated oil and gas fields starting in the first quarter of 2016. Four companies, not including Aker Solutions, were awarded main supplier contracts for maintenance and modifications work in Norway.

Parsons wins Shindagha Corridor Project in Dubai

Parsons announced that it was recently awarded a consultancy services contract for the improvement of the Shindagha Corridor in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Parsons’ services will include the preliminary concept study, preliminary design, final design, tender documentation, and construction supervision.

Sener takes part in the California high Speed Line

The California High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA), has awarded Sener the contract to develop the engineering and environmental services for the Palmdale to Burbank section of the California high speed line. The engineering and technology group is a renowned expert in railways and urban transportation, specifically in high speed rail implementation. It has already participated in projects in the Golden state, such as Los Angeles Union Station.

Ramboll has won new Road Tunnel Project in Copenhagen

Ramboll has won the assignment of planning and design for a new road tunnel 'Nordhavnstunnelen' which will connect the tunnel on the Nordhavnsvej project (currently under construction) with Nordhavnen (the North Harbour in Copenhagen) and hereby improve the access for traffic in the area.

Grontmij and Pondera to prepare one of World’s largest Offshore Wind Farms in the Netherlands

Grontmij, a listed consulting & engineering company with a strong European presence, and partner Pondera Consult will carry out preparatory studies for the call for tender by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs for allotments III and IV of the Borssele offshore wind farm. Follo Line Project: First Tunnel Contract Award

Società Italiana per Condotte d'Acqua S.p.A. (Condotte) has been awarded the first out of five large EPC contracts for the Follo Line Project, currently the largest infrastructure project in Norway. This drill & blast contract covers all excavation by mainly drill & blast techniques.

BAM-Alstom Joint Venture selected as preferred Tenderer for PPP Project Tram Line Liège

SRWT (Société Régionale Wallonne du Transport) has selected the Mobiliège joint venture as preferred tenderer for the tram line project in Liege. Mobiliège is formed by BAM PPP PGGM Infrastructure cooperative, Alstom and DG Infra + BAM Galère (the operating company that realizes construction and civil projects in Wallonia) is involved for the civil and building works. Other BAM companies involved are BAM Track, Betonac, BAM FM and BAM Maintenance.
