The Solar Project is delivering on a prior commitment to the Government of Suriname, which was made in connection with a prior deal that significantly lowered the Company's cost of power.


Champion Comments on Quebec Government's Announcement of A Pre-Feasibility Study for A Third Railway

AJ Lucas Announces Award of Contracts Totalling $66 Million

AJ Lucas Group Limited (ASX:AJL) (Lucas) refers to its announcement on 13 June 2013 in which it advised that it was negotiating contracts for three projects within its Engineering and Construction Division (LEC).
Lucas advised that it has successfully secured all of these contracts as follows:

  • Construction and installation of gas gathering pipelines in Central Queensland totalling 32km in length;
  • Construction and installation of a 5.5km gas pipeline between Tomago and Hexham including 2.6km of horizontal directional drilling to traverse the Hunter River and an industrial area;
  • Construction and installation of gas (53.6km) and water (24.5km) trunklines in the northern region of the Queensland Curtis LNG Project (as previously announced on 18 June 2013).

First of all there needs to be high concentration of dust, then there must be oxygen and there should also be an ignition source. If all of these appear in a confined space – an explosion will happen.

FLSmidth to supply large material handling system

FLSmidth has received an order worth approximately INR 1900m (approximately DKK 200m) from a leading Indian steel producer, Tata Steel, to supply two pipe conveyors for transport of 6 million tonnes per year of iron ore over a distance of around 9 km from the steel company's Khondbond mines to the railway loading point at Joda in the state of Odisha, located on the east coast of India.
