New Vibratory Product Manager at Superior Industries

Superior Industries Inc., a U.S. based manufacturer and global supplier of bulk material processing and handling systems, has named Mark Crooks as its vibratory product manager. Crooks’ responsibilities will include managing and further developing Superior’s vibratory product line, which currently includes the Guardian Horizontal Screen, Anthem Inclined Screen, and Intrepid Vibrating Grizzly Feeder (VGF).

Glenwood Pit serves as proving Ground for new Superior Products

 

Situated right outside of Glenwood, MN, 36 miles away from Hancock Concrete’s headquarters, the Glenwood Pit is the source of rock product for the company’s concrete production. Hancock Concrete, which turns 100 years old this year, designs and fabricates precast concrete box culverts, round and arch pipe, manhole structures, and bridges. In 2011, the company was acquired by nearby Superior Industries, located in Morris, MN. Superior, a manufacturing company founded in 1972 by Neil Schmidgall, engineers and builds bulk material processing and handling equipment and machinery components.

MTU moves into Excavator Market with Engines for JCB

 

For the first time, MTU will be supplying engines for use in excavators, having won an order from British construction equipment manufacturer JCB. MTU’s Series 1000 engines are compliant with EU-Stage IV and EPA Tier 4f emissions legislation and are to be used to power new excavators in JCB’s JS 300, JS 330 and JS 370 series. The construction machinery manufacturer is choosing MTU for its excavators for the first time. MTU has been supplying Series 4000 engines for huge mining excavators of different manufacturers for decades.

New Sandvik Dino DC400Ri impresses in Seinäjoki in Finland

 

Production of the new Sandvik Dino DC400Ri drill rig began in 2014, with the first Finnish customer receiving his rig at the very end of the year. This Dino DC400Ri is now drilling in Seinäjoki, the main area in which contractor Pekka Saarela operates. After many months of productive use, it is safe to say that the rig has not only met his expectations but exceeded them.
