Visitors from all over the world, innovations as far as the eye can see, and a unique family atmosphere – the in-house exhibition of the Bauer Maschinen Group is always something special. From 6 to 8 May, the event took place in the courtyard of Bauer's headquarters for the 21st time. Not surprisingly, a certain routine had set in over the years. But this year a lot was new. The idea was to be even closer to the customer. Or to put it another way: The idea was to bring the customer even closer to the machines.

Bauer Maschinen received Thousands of Visitors at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG Trade Fair

Conexpo-Con/AGG is the most important construction machinery trade show in North America. This year, over 130,000 visitors from 150 countries and over 2,500 exhibitors attended from all over the world, according to organizers. The Bauer Maschinen Group was also among the exhibitors once again and showcased two BG rotary drilling rigs as well as a selection of equipment from its subsidiaries Pileco, RTG, Klemm and MAT at its. The Bauer team welcomed more than 7,000 unique visitors and organized 441 guided tours.

First Use in Toronto: Bauer BG 46 demonstrates top Performance

The Canadian Bauer Maschinen client Deep Foundations Contractors Inc. is carrying out the foundation work for the Parkside Square project in Toronto and in order to install the 28 m deep secant pile wall and 20 m deep single piles has opted for the latest equipment technology from Bauer: the Bauer BG 46, the most powerful rotary drilling rig currently on the market.

On the 3rd of November 2016, Tetra Tech Proteus, Tetra Tech's Western Australian based engineering services firm, received the 2016 Bentley Be Inspired Award for the Innovation in Mining Category at the Bentley Year in Infrastructure Conference in London. London Tunnelling Contract approaches successful Completion

The LPT contract saw the jv partners tunnelling for some 32km under the capital, creating what client National Grid describes as an ‘electricity superhighway’ for high-voltage cables to provide increased resilience for the city’s power supplies. When all aspects of the project are complete in 2018, it will help ensure that London’s growing demand for power can be met over the coming years.

The contract involved driving three major new tunnels under London, linking Hackney in the east with Willesden in the west and Wimbledon to the south, with 14 shafts along the route providing access from street level. This represented the longest single tunnelling contract ever let to a single contractor in London.
