Bodo Möller Chemie keeps expanding the Special Mineral Cooperation with Imerys S.A.
The Bodo Möller Chemie Group is expanding its cooperation even closer with the French mining group Imerys S.A., a world leader in mineral-based specialty solutions for industry. Initially, the cooperation will become effective on January 1st for the Nordic countries of Denmark, Norway and Iceland.
Both the distribution as well as the customer-specific advice for the use and processing of the mineral-based materials are being taken over. The Imerys portfolio includes a wide range of minerals, like talc, kaolin, ball clays, carbonate, precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC), diatomite earth, perlite, mica and wollastonite. With Imerys Performance Minerals, Bodo Möller Chemie will meet the increasing demand of the paint & coatings, inks, adhesives, rubber and plastic industry in the Nordics comprehensively.
Optimization of the supply chain
“Imerys products are market leaders in the area of minerals and ideally supplement the portfolio of Bodo Möller Chemie. Our objective in all markets is a wide product offering that allows our customers to receive all needed materials from one single source, especially as in this way we can also ideally optimize our other services for applying and processing all product groups,” says Peter Holm, Managing Director of Bodo Möller Chemie Denmark ApS. Thus, Bodo Möller Chemie makes it possible not only to shorten the supply chain with this efficient method, but also to offer customers additional services such as those of the company’s own laboratories as well as decanting and formulation services. Complementary products from one single source offer the added value nowadays required in the course of fast developments and short time-to-market.
From supplier to application expert
“Our agreement with Bodo Möller Chemie is built on a long-standing partnership, now to include distribution in Denmark, Norway and Iceland. Customers will benefit from streamlined regional access to IMERYS’ expansive specialty minerals portfolio backed by Bodo Möller Chemie’s technical expertise and local market knowledge,” says Philippe Reygnier, Distribution Manager of the Imerys PARP Division. For many years, Bodo Möller Chemie has been cooperating with selected manufacturers of valuable chemical products and therefore has established long-term customer and producer relationships. “We are excited about the expansion of our joint activities in most of the Nordic countries and we look forward to make our customers more successful. The Imerys portfolio is a corner stone of our way forward to become one of the leading distribution partners for the CASE market segment. We build on our legacy as a dynamic and flexible partner to the industry and strive to deliver more value to our customers,” says Florian Krückl, Vice President Global Business Management CASE & Textile Effects of the Bodo Möller Chemie Group.
