bauma 2019: Successful Home Match for Rema Tip Top
Rema Tip Top draws a positive conclusion | Strong interest among visitors in trade fair and in-house exhibition | Megatrend digitalisation | “Industrial Solutions“ along the entire value chain
In 2019, bauma yielded record numbers once again and lived up to its reputation as the largest trade fair in the world and the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, building-material machinery, mining machinery, construction vehicles and equipment: over 620,000 visitors, 3,700 exhibitors from 63 countries and an exhibition space of 614,000 square metres setting a worldwide record. In hall B2, Rema Tip Top experienced a very successful trade fair with many high-quality discussions with visitors coming from all over the world. The in-house exhibition running in parallel at the company headquarters in Poing attracted great interest as well.
The combination of an appealing exhibition stand and a comprehensive in-house exhibition resulted in a very productive trade fair week for Rema Tip Top during bauma 2019: “This year’s bauma was very successful; our exhibition stand attracted many visitors during the week“, reported Günter Busse, booth manager and Head of Global Product Management. “We were able to present both individual products and the entire range of our product and service portfolio at our booth and our in-house exhibition. We received a very positive feedback by our subsidiaries, our partners, and not least by our customers.” Our trade fair appearance was dominated by the the topic “Industrial Solutions”, bundling the integrated product and service solutions that Rema Tip Top offers along the entire value chain in the raw materials industry.
Digitalisation turned out to be one of the megatrends during bauma 2019. The booth of Rema Tip Top, where the innovative system for proactive maintenance of conveyor belts attracted great interest, confirmed this trend. “Customer response was extremely positive, on the part of both users and suppliers”, reported Thomas Moser, Product Manager at Rema Tip Top. „Meanwhile, everyone has recognised the need to employ digital monitoring systems and now think of their successful implementation.” With Rema MCube and Rema CCube, Rema Tip Top offers intelligent solutions for enhancing the profitability and productivity of conveyor belt systems.
Home match in Munich: Rema Tip Top combines bauma with in-house exhibition
A further special feature of Rema Tip Top’s trade fair appearance was the combination of the booth at bauma and an in-house exhibition on the premises of the company headquarters in Poing, less than about ten kilometres away from bauma: “At the in-house exhibition, we were able to make use of our home-field advantage. Running both exhibitions at the same time presented a challenge, both in terms of personnel and exhibits”, Günter Busse describes the trade fair preparations. “We have done a lot of training; during the week, we successfully ran the trade fair marathon and we managed to successfully cross the finishing line on this last day of the trade fair.“ The in-house exhibition will continue until mid of May and will, among other things, host international sales meetings, customer visits, and the German Technology Congress.
