Bekaert appointed Chief Financial Officer and completed new Leadership Team

Taoufiq Boussaid joined Bekaert as Chief Financial Officer on 15 July 2019. He succeeded Frank Vromant who took on the role of CFO ad interim in November last year. Taoufiq Boussaid will be a member of the Bekaert Group Executive.

Nokian Heavy Tyres Ltd übernimmt finnischen Hersteller von Schwerlastfelgen Levypyörä Oy

Im Einklang mit der Wachstumsstrategie von Nokian Heavy Tyres erwirbt das Unternehmen den finnischen Hersteller von Schwerlastfelgen Levypyörä.

Mit den beiden Geschäftsbereichen Felgen und Stahlbauten bedient Levypyörä mehrere Erstausrüster (OEM) sowie Aftermarket-Kunden (AM) in den Bereichen Forst-, Landwirtschaft und Erdbau. Der jährliche Nettoumsatz von Levypyörä beträgt rund 18 Millionen Euro.

„Diese Übernahme ermöglicht es Nokian Heavy Tyres, seinen bestehenden Kunden bedeutsame neue Lösungen anzubieten, das Produktionsvolumen von Felgen zu erhöhen sowie das Serviceniveau weiter zu verbessern. Levypyörä ist bereits seit vielen Jahren ein zuverlässiger Partner von uns. Die Übernahme eröffnet zusätzliche Wachstumschancen und bietet eine Komplettlösung für unsere wichtigsten OEM- und AM-Kunden“, sagt Manu Salmi, Geschäftsführer von Nokian Heavy Tyres.
