Francesca Ottoni joins Hatch to lead Hydropower Business in Ontario
Hatch announce the appointment of Francesca Ottoni to the role of Regional Manager, Waterpower. Based in Niagara Falls, the birthplace of Hatch’s nearly 100-year-old history in waterpower, Ottoni will lead Hatch’s world-class hydroelectric professionals based in Ontario.
In this role, Ottoni will lead the expansion of Hatch’s waterpower practice in the region, building on Hatch’s rich history in the space while connecting with the company’s global engineering capability to deliver practical solutions that are safe, innovative, and sustainable. Ottoni will also support Hatch’s waterpower growth initiatives in the USA, Central America, and South America, with the express goal of growing the capacity of their Niagara Falls office and anchoring the next 100 years of Hatch’s legacy in waterpower.
“Francesca Ottoni brings with her a proven skillset in client engagement and project delivery within the energy space, a passion for engaging with her team, and a deep understanding and appreciation for the power sector. Ottoni is a senior leader with over 20 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry, primarily in the energy sector. She brings to the position a wealth of experience in business growth and strategy, project execution, and external relations. Her long list of accomplishments includes leading the development of multi-billion dollar projects for nuclear plant refurbishments. Ottoni earned a bachelor of Engineering from Concordia University, as well as a Masters of Business Administration from Queen’s University. She is registered as a professional engineer in the state of California (USA).
