Swedish Proplate releases record sales also thanks to German business
Proplate Oxelösund AB, Swedish manufacturer of complex steel parts and assemblies for the construction and special vehicle industries, has achieved record sales of SEK 429 million (around EUR 36 million) in the past fiscal year. In SEK terms, this represents an increase of around 18% on the previous year and a doubling within the last three years.

Flexco Europe has developed the FSK2MP, a belt skiver that uses an electric drive to remove belt top covers much faster and more easily than conventional devices can do.
A skived belt helps extend the life of a manual belt fastener, ensuring compatibility with belt cleaners with a lower profile and creating a more durable splice. With the FSK2MP, Flexco Europe has now developed an innovative solution that makes this process faster and easier than ever. Conventional belt skivers are usually manually operated, which necessitates more strength and time – but this new product makes everyday work much more manageable. Of course, safe handling is also guaranteed, despite the higher speed.
Flexco Europe offers the easy-to-use FSK2MP in two sizes: One version is suitable for skiving belts with thicknesses from 6.5 to 32 millimeters, while the other can tackle thicknesses of 22.5 to 44.5 millimeters. The user can easily adjust the belt skiver to cutting depths of 1.5 to 9.5 millimeters, and greater depths are easily achieved with several passes. The fence can also be adapted to match the required belt fastener sizes. The front drive rollers also grip the belt at the start to prevent slippage. The new FSK2MP is lightweight and easy to transport.
