Bauer AG has acquired all the shares in fielddata.io GmbH. This means that all digital solutions which the software provider develops in the field of specialist foundation engineering will be available in the future exclusively for the customers of Bauer Maschinen GmbH and Bauer Spezialtiefbau GmbH.
Since 2019, a cooperation agreement existed between fielddata.io and Bauer in order to develop digital specialist foundation engineering solutions together with the combined expertise of their employees. This link is now becoming tighter. In the process, the employees of fielddata.io GmbH will be fully integrated in their collaboration with Bauer’s employees.
“We are thrilled that our previous cooperation partner Bauer is now also supervising the further growth of the company as sole shareholder. Together, we will perfect the digital process from design to execution and representation of nominal data all the way to quality documentation on all Bauer equipment”, says Jochen Maurer, Managing Director of fielddata.
“Our customers in specialist foundation engineering can benefit from enormous advantages”, confirms Dr. Rüdiger Kaub, CEO of Bauer Maschinen GmbH. “The total package of equipment and technologies for data analysis and quality documentation ensures a smooth digital workflow. In this way, we enable our customers to use our equipment efficiently on their sites.”
fielddata provides solutions that assist with the management of heterogeneous equipment fleets and their optimal integration into the work flow. These include open interfaces, including the recently released “Mic 4.0” API from the working group Machines in Construction.
