Ståle Röd new Executive Vice President and part of the Group Leadership Team at Skanska
Ståle Röd has been appointed Executive Vice President at Skanska Group. Ståle will step into his new position and join Skanska's Group Leadership Team on January 1, 2023. Ståle will be responsible for the business units Skanska Central Europe, Skanska UK, Skanska Norway, and Skanska Residential Development Europe. Ståle currently holds the position as Business Unit President Skanska Norway.

He has shown strong leadership heading up the Norwegian organization, where he has established a commercial focus with the customer at the center. He has developed and strengthened our business by aligning our core business with our sustainability agenda and innovative solutions. With our strategy being based on these parameters, Ståle will contribute with his experience from day one. He is also a strong culture builder who always has our people in focus”, says Anders Danielsson, President, and CEO of Skanska Group.

Skanska's CEO Anders Danielsson will, in addition to the overall responsibility for Skanska's operations, be responsible for the business units Boklok Housing and continue to be responsible for Skanska Sweden and Skanska Finland. Activities relating to rental residential will be reported in the Commercial Development stream with Executive Vice President Claes Larsson in charge. Claes will also continue to be responsible for the business streams Commercial Development and Investment properties.
The above will enter into force on January 1, 2023.
As of January 1, 2023 Stein Ivar Hellestad, currently CFO Skanska Norway, will step in as Acting Business Unit President for Skanska Norway.
The announcement of the new Business Unit President for Skanska Norway will be communicated separately as soon the recruitment is completed.

POWTECH 2023: A flying start with new themes and technologies
POWTECH is getting off to a flying start. The Leading International Processing Trade Fair will take place in Nuremberg from 26 to 28 September 2023 – almost exactly a year after POWTECH 2022. Once again, more than 700 exhibitors from many countries will draw a large attendance of regional and international visitors. It is already clear that the official expansion of the themes at the event from just powder and bulk solids processing to include all fluid technologies has attracted new exhibitors.
