Mexico Pacific Limited announces Collaboration with ConocoPhillips LNG and Bechtel

Mexico Pacific Limited LLC, developer of a North American LNG export project based in Puerto Libertad, Sonora, Mexico, announced that it has entered into a collaboration agreement with ConocoPhillips LNG Licensing LLC and Bechtel, working with Techint S.A. de C.V., to advance the global energy transition and to assist in lowering greenhouse gas emissions by pursuing innovative lower carbon LNG design solutions for the MPL LNG Project future phases. The MPL LNG Project was chosen as the greenfield project for this world class initiative.

Costain Part of Proving Hydrogen can be distributed via existing Gas Networks

Costain, the smart infrastructure solutions company, in collaboration with the gas networks, has produced a feasibility study that will contribute to the ongoing assessments of the ability to use the existing UK gas transmission and distribution networks to transport hydrogen. The project is the first to bring together all the gas distribution networks, working collaboratively to develop an innovative hydrogen solution that could be an answer to decarbonised energy for heat, transport, industry and power generation, helping the UK meets its target to be net zero carbon by 2050.

QRC welcomes more Land for Gas Exploration

The Queensland Resources Council, the peak organisation for the State’s coal, metal and petroleum producers, explorers and suppliers, has welcomed the release of more than 6,700 square kilometres of land in the Surat and Bowen basins between Blackwater and Goondiwindi for gas exploration including domestic-only gas.

Porr to build another Gas Pipeline in Poland

A consortium consisting of Porr S.A. and Denys NV has been hired by Gaz-System S.A. to build the high-pressure gas pipeline Tworóg-Tworzeń. The pipeline is already the second project that Porr is building for the Polish gas transport operator. The new pipeline aims to improve the transport of natural gas in the Voivodeship of Opole and the Silesia region. The tender is worth around EUR 68m (PLN 290m).
