Webuild: Paris Residents visit Work Sites of Lot 2, Line 16 of Grand Paris Express, Europe’s biggest sustainable Mobility Project

Thousands of people took part in the “Journée Portes Ouvertes” (Open Day) organised on Saturday, October 16 around Paris for the Grand Paris Express to show with the utmost transparency the progress of the work being done on the biggest sustainable mobility project in Europe. Organized by Société du Grand Paris, the client, the programme included visits to four work sites of Lot 2 of the future Line 16 being developed by Webuild and its French partner.

Strabag: Contract for large-scale A8 Enz Valley crossing Motorway Project

The STRABAG Group has been awarded a new large-scale contract in the southwestern German state of Baden-Württemberg. Germany’s federal motorway company, Autobahn GmbH des Bundes, has awarded to STRABAG the contract for the six-lane expansion of the A8 motorway in the Enz Valley near Pforzheim. The contract for the complex infrastructure project on the main corridor between Karlsruhe and Stuttgart is worth more than € 100 million.

International Consortium of Cemex, Enertrag and Sunfire launches ground breaking Green Hydrogen Project

Renewable energy company ENERTRAG, global cement producer CEMEX and electrolysis company Sunfire are launching “Concrete Chemicals”, a lighthouse project aiming to decarbonize the cement industry. Together with industrial and academic partners, the international consortium has submitted a funding application under the German Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) funding call to receive financial support for the challenging startup-phase of the project.

Metso Outotec teams up with Mining and Construction Equipment Sweden and Värnamo Krosskonsult

Metso Outotec has signed a distribution contract with Mining and Construction Equipment Sweden AB and Värnamo Krosskonsult AB. The two companies will sell in cooperation Metso Outotec’s mobile and stationary crushing and screening equipment as well as crusher wear parts for the mining and aggregate customers in Southern and Central Sweden. They will also provide service support such as start-ups and repairs in the regions. The contract has come into effect in April 2021.
