Essen based DMT GmbH & Co. KG (DMT), an international technology service provider in the natural resources sector, will be exhibiting in a special display on exploration history, as part of the international geothermal energy fair Geo-T Expo, being held in Essen from 12 to 14 November 2013.

ISM congress in Aachen 16.-20.09.13
From 16 to 20 September 2013, representatives from DMT GmbH & Co. KG will be presenting the topics of measuring methods and instruments, deposit management and mine closure / abandoned mining at the XV International Mine Surveying Congress in Aachen. A special focus will be on DMT's innovative laser scanning systems, designed specifically for the demanding nature of the mining industry.
DMT presents new product at the Intergeo
For many years, the Essen based consulting and engineering company DMT has contributed significantly to geodetic, geotechnical and geophysical monitoring in hazardous environments through its numerous geomonitoring projects. To process and analyse the extensive measurement data from various measuring instruments and sensors, the company developed a hardware and software solution which stores and analyses all gathered data in such a way that it's available for sharing: DMT SAFEGUARD.
DMT SAFEGUARD is a modular system for safe and reliable risk assessment for projects in mining, building construction, civil engineering and environmental monitoring.
Despite adverse weather conditions, the Essen based firm DMT GmbH & Co. KG completed its 3D seismic exploration of conventional natural gas in the Northern Spanish region of Rioja on schedule in March 2013.
In the course of the second "Essen Expert Talk on Deep Geothermal Energy", held on 25 April 2013, DMT Petrologic celebrated its 15th anniversary. "We are proud to be part of this jubilee celebration", explained Bodo Lehmann, Head of DMT's Exploration & Geosurvey Division. "The high number of attendees at the event demonstrates just how successfully Petrologic has been integrated into the DMT group and how well this has been received by the market". Alongside the evening's main program, a series of talks on seismic data processing were given, covering the topics of pre-stack depth migration, CRS and reverse time migration.
