Appointment of new CEO of Endomines AB

Endomines announces that it has appointed Greg Smith as Chief Executive Officer of the company. Greg has, on a consultancy basis, been leading Endomines’ operations in the US and Finland since June 5th 2019, when Endomines communicated that it was evaluating the appointment of Greg as CEO of Endomines. Greg Smith will assume the position of CEO as soon as he has been granted a Swedish work permit (Sw. ICT-tillstånd), which is expected to be granted in February 2020, by the latest.

Normet making History by doing Underground Explosives charging on Batteries

Normet made history by demonstrating battery electric emulsion charging in production environment underground on June 4th in Pyhäsalmi mine, Finland, with their Charmec MC 605 VE SD, for the first time in Europe. Battery-based charging makes the explosives charging process safer and more efficient, as there is no need to plug in to the mine’s electric grid.

Robin Lindahl, President and CEO of Normet Group has decided to leave Normet. He will join Taaleri plc as their new CEO latest 1.8.2019. Taaleri is listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange and its business comprises of wealth management, financial services and renewable energy business.

Keliber appoints financial Advisors for the Lithium Project Investments

Keliber Oy has appointed Carnegie Investment Bank AB and Nordea Bank Abp as advisors for the equity financing for the Company’s mining and lithium chemical production project. Carnegie will be the Global Coordinator for the equity financing. Together with Company, the advisors will explore different financing options, including possibilities for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) through a listing of the Company’s shares, for the construction of the Lithium Project.

Keliber’s Pilot Plant Tests to produce Lithium Hydroxide completed

The pilot tests of the Keliber's lithium hydroxide test program have been completed on schedule. During the test work, conducted at Outotec's Pori Research Center, leaching, ion exchange and crystallization tests were carried out on laboratory and pilot scales. During the pilot, lithium hydroxide was produced and based on preliminary analyses the product is of battery grade.
