Neuer Kongress widmet sich der Zukunft der Drohnen in Europa
INTERGEO – the trade fair with accompanying conference for geodesy, geoinformation and land management – has just opened its doors for the 21st time. The launch party in Stuttgart’s Kunstmuseum proved a suitably auspicious opening for the coming three days of inspirational ideas, networking, setting trends and blazing a trail to the future – all pivoting on Geospatial 4.0. DVW President Karl-Friedrich Thöne says the key theme at INTERGEO 2015 stores the potential to launch a new era – as the intelligent networking enabled by Geospatial 4.0 will bring with it revolutionary change.
Trend towards integrated solutions – UAS support for practical processes
The agenda for the Intergeo conference in Stuttgart is packed with exciting topics that are the focus of ongoing political debate on the digital world and will play a key role in shaping the way we work in future. With keynote speeches and plenary talks delivered in English and simultaneous interpreting provided for one strand of the conference on the second day, it is clear that Intergeo is also becoming increasingly significant on an international scale.
Intergeo 2015 in Stuttgart is setting new benchmarks. After attracting a record number of visitors in Berlin last year, the industry’s leading trade fair is now set to reach a new record in terms of exhibition space. With the hall capacity expanded to meet unprecedented demand from exhibitors from all over the world, the exhibition space currently covers over 30,000 square metres for the first time.
Geospatial 4.0 was the key word at the preview event for Intergeo 2015 in Stuttgart. The members of the strong panel discussed trends and innovations in the geoinformation industry. They all agreed that the intelligent networking of sensors, data and services is defining the technological and strategic developments in the industry. The aim is for the added value chain to develop closely focussed on the customer. New collaborations with industry organisations are ensuring Intergeo is clearly moving in the direction to applications and target groups, and there is even more focus on career issues in 2015.
Zum 1. September übernimmt Georg Bercker (51) die Position des Director Sales im Hause Hinte(z.B. INTERGEO).
