Preview: Bauer Maschinen Group with multiple Highlights at Bauma China

Bauma China Shanghai is soon approaching: On November 27, the international trade show for construction and building material machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment will once again open its doors. During the four days of the show, exhibitors will again be presenting the latest technology, machinery and equipment as well as developments in the construction industry to visitors. And of course, Bauer Maschinen Group will once again be there with two booths (A06 + A13).


SMT Scharf auf Wachstumskurs

Die SMT Scharf AG hat nach finalen Geschäftszahlen 2017 ein deutliches Umsatz- und Ergebniswachstum im abgelaufenen Geschäftsjahr erzielt. Den Konzernumsatz konnte SMT Scharf im Berichtsjahr um 22,6% auf 52,1 Mio. EUR deutlich steigern (2016: 42,6 Mio. EUR). Gleichzeitig erzielte das Unternehmen ein operatives Ergebnis (EBIT) von 4,5 Mio. EUR (2016: 2,5 Mio. EUR), was einem Anstieg von 84,2% entspricht. Unter dem Strich konnte SMT Scharf das Konzernjahresergebnis im Vergleich zum Vorjahr auf 4,0 Mio. EUR (2016: 1,5 Mio. EUR) deutlich verbessern.


SMT Scharf further expands Activities in China

SMT Scharf AG has agreed a strategic partnership with leading Chinese mining group Shanxi Lu'an Coal Technology Equipment Co., Ltd. A joint venture has been formed for this purpose to promote sales as well as service & after-sales business for specific transport systems for Chinese mining.


Fischer Heavy Duty Fixings in the Guiyang Metro Line 1 in China

The Middle Kingdom has been investing intensively in its infrastructure for years. This includes the expansion of the rail network in many cities and in the countryside. The Fischer Group of Companies is providing support to many of these large-scale projects with its fixing systems and on-site service solutions. For example, more than 750,000 Fischer fixings were used during the construction of the new metro line 1 in Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou province in Southwest China. Electrical cables, communication systems, guard doors and firefighting systems were securely and firmly installed using these fixings.


First of its Kind: Bucket Wheel Excavator Barracuda makes Coal Mining in China safer and more efficient


Thyssenkrupp has won its first order for its new Barracuda® compact bucket wheel excavator. China Huaneng Group has ordered the bucket wheel excavator based overburden system from the mining unit of the company’s Industrial Solutions business area. The order is worth more than €40 million. The Barracuda is due to go into operation at the Yiminhe open-pit mine in Inner Mongolia in 2018.
