Herrenknecht: Flotter Pipeline-Anschluss in Australien

In lediglich drei Monaten installierte das australische Bohrunternehmen Dunstans Construction Group in Anglesea (Victoria) eine 700 Meter lange Pipeline. Dabei spielte ein 250-Tonnen HDD-Rig von Herrenknecht eine Schlüsselrolle. In kürzester Zeit führte die Baucrew mit der Anlage einen Sea Outfall durch, plus Pipelineeinzug bis zum lokalen Klärwerk.
Mithilfe eines HDD-Rigs von Herrenknecht wurde in Anglesea in Victoria (Australien) eine 700 m lange Pipeline im Sea Outfall-Verfahren unter dem Meer verlegt. Die bestehende Pipeline war zuvor durch einen Klippeneinsturz zerstört worden.

An event marking the start of the year-round shipments of Yamal oil from the Arctic Gate (Vorota Arktiki), an Arctic oil loading terminal, took place in the Mys Kamenny settlement (Yamal Peninsula, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area). The event was attended by Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, and Alexander Dyukov, Chief Executive Officer of Gazprom Neft.


QRC: Gas pipeline links Mount Isa (NT) with the North West

A new gas pipeline to Mount Isa from the Northern Territory is a vital shot in the arm for jobs and economic development in the North West.

The Northern Territory Government today announced that Jemena Northern Gas Pipeline Pty Ltd would build the 622 kilometre North East Gas Interconnector between Tennant Creek and Mount Isa.

SNL Metals & Mining: State of the Market Snapshot - March Quarter 2015

In the previous State of the Market (SOTM) report, the messages for the international mining industry from the final three months of 2014 were summarized as “decidedly mixed.” Unfortunately, almost all of the signs were negative in the three months to end-March. Global economic growth remains precarious, and six of the eight constituents of the SNL metals-price index declined during the March quarter. With these gloomy market conditions, there was a decline in global drilling activity and the value of initial resources. Financing also fell in the three months to end-March, and there was a decline in the number of mergers and acquisitions.
