Metso Outotec to supply primary Crushing Stations for a Mining Company in Russia

Metso Outotec will deliver two primary crushing stations for a mine located in the Russian Far East. The EUR 23 million order, which has been booked in former Metso Minerals’ Q2 2020 orders received, will be delivered by Metso Outotec Corporation (formed when Metso Corporation and Outotec Oyj completed the combination of Metso’s Minerals business and Outotec on June 30, 2020). The commissioning of the equipment is expected to take place in 2023.

Petropavlovsk: Retirement of Chairman - Board Changes

Petropavlovsk PLC announced the appointments of Ms Fiona Paulus and Mr Tim McCutcheon as Independent Non-Executive Directors with immediate effect. It also announces that Sir Roderic Lyne will retire from the Board following the Company's Annual General Meeting on 30 June 2020 and will be succeeded by Ms Paulus as Chairman.

Metso supplies Calcining System to Russia

 

Metso has signed a contract for the delivery of a calcining system to a customer in Russia. The order value of approximately EUR 30 million has been booked in Metso’s Q1 2020 orders received. Commissioning of the system is expected to take place in 2023.

First Holes drilled at the Maly Patom Project in Russia

Kopy Goldfields AB commenced a drilling program at the Maly Patom ("Northern Territories" or "NT") exploration project. The exploration program targets gold discoveries at one to three previously identified gold anomalies and so far, six holes have been drilled with sulfide mineralization identified in several samples and two samples containing visible gold grains.

Zyfra and First Ore-Mining Company to deploy Artificial Intelligence Solutions for Mining in Extreme North

First Ore-Mining Company, a part of mining division of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation, and Zyfra, Finnish-Russian digital solutions provider for heavy industries, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in deploying Artificial Intelligence-based solutions in mining and enrichment operations at the Pavlovskoe deposit, where there are plans to build the most northerly ore-mining enterprise in Russia.

Sika invests in Membrane Production in Russia

Sika is expanding its product portfolio in Russia with the commissioning of a new production line for PVC membranes at its factory in Lobnya, near Moscow. It will now also manufacture high-performance thermoplastic membranes for waterproofing structures at this location, resulting in significant cost savings and competitive advantages.
