Lane (Salini Impregilo) ready to expand further in U.S. with new President

Salini Impregilo is ready to expand further in the United States, its biggest market by revenue, with a new commercial strategy. With an order backlog at the end of June exceeding $4 billion and new orders totalling more than $800 million including contracts that are new or in the process of being finalised, as well as best offers, the Group aims to increase its market share with new projects in the transport, water and tunnelling sectors.

Salini Impregilo receives ENR Awards for Sydney and Washington, D.C., Projects

Salini Impregilo has won awards for two projects it has recently completed – the Skytrain Bridge for the Sydney Metro Northwest in Australia and the Anacostia River Tunnel in Washington, D.C., United States. The Group received the recognition from the leading U.S. construction magazine the Engineering News-Record (ENR) which publishes on a yearly basis its rankings for large international construction companies. Salini Impregilo is the only company to have won two awards in the sixth edition of ENR's Global Best Projects.

Salini Impregilo with Lane wins Contract in South Carolina

Salini Impregilo’s U.S. subsidiary, The Lane Construction Corporation, has won a $181-million design-and-build contract to widen Interstate 85 (I-85) in Cherokee County, South Carolina, confirming their leadership in the road and highway sector in the United States where Lane registered a 16.1% rise in revenues and a record order backlog of €3 billion in 2017.

Salini Impregilo wins Paris Metro Contract

Salini Impregilo has won a €203-million contract to extend a Paris metro line to the Orly airport south of the French capital. It marks not only the Group’s return to France 20 years since it worked on the city’s Est-Ouest Liaison Express (EOLE), but also its entry into the Grand Paris Express, a massive project that will expand the city’s public transport network to the periphery by 2030.
