Acrux Sorting Technology Proprietary Limited’s subsidiary, Acrux Sorting Coal (Pty) Ltd (“ASC”), has signed a coal beneficiation agreement with two wholly owned subsidiaries of Johannesburg Stock Exchange (“JSE”) listed mining company Wescoal Holdings Limited (“Wescoal”), whereby ASC will deploy advanced sensor-based sorting technology to upgrade lower-grade coal from the mines.

Metso Outotec teams up with Mining and Construction Equipment Sweden and Värnamo Krosskonsult

Metso Outotec has signed a distribution contract with Mining and Construction Equipment Sweden AB and Värnamo Krosskonsult AB. The two companies will sell in cooperation Metso Outotec’s mobile and stationary crushing and screening equipment as well as crusher wear parts for the mining and aggregate customers in Southern and Central Sweden. They will also provide service support such as start-ups and repairs in the regions. The contract has come into effect in April 2021.

As of April 2021, Metso Outotec’s aggregate equipment, crusher wear parts and spare parts are available through Ascendum Máquinas in Portugal and Angola. In addition to equipment and parts, the contract includes service, commissioning, and technical support.
