Fugro awarded geotechnical Contract for Landmark La Gan Offshore Wind Farm in Vietnam

La Gan Wind Power Development Corporation (La Gan Wind), owned by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), Asiapetro and Novasia, has awarded an offshore geotechnical contract to a consortium led by Vietsovpetro, PTSC G&S and Fugro. The award is part of CIP’s development plan for the La Gan offshore wind project in Vietnam which, with a potential capacity of 3.5 GW, will be one of the first large-scale offshore wind farms in Vietnam.

SNC-Lavalin awarded Contract for California Department of Transportation

 SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. has been awarded a three-year contract with two one-year extensions to provide a Transportation Asset Management System (TAMS) for the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). Under the $15 million USD contract, SNC-Lavalin’s Data Transfer Solutions (DTS) business will provide services which include implementing the TAMS solution, software licensing and maintenance, and optional post-implementation support.

Metso Outotec divests its Operations in Vereeniging, South Africa

Consultations evaluating the closure or other alternatives related to former Metso operations in Vereeniging, South Africa, have been concluded. The consultations, initiated by Metso in March 2020, have resulted in the decision to divest the fabrication, machining and assembly operations and close or rearrange the rest of the operations.
