Bauer Maschinen Group sells Diesel Hammer Product Line

At the beginning of October 2018, the Bauer Maschinen Group decided to sell the diesel hammer product line and the associated brand name Pileco to Wang LLC, a subsidiary of Wuxi Xinren Universal Machinery CO, a long-standing supplier and partner to Bauer. "This profitable sale was a logical step," says Christian Gress, member of the Management Board in the Bauer Maschinen GmbH, explaining that the sale was due both to market developments in the diesel hammer sector in the USA as well as to the fact that the product ultimately no longer suits Bauer's overall Portfolio.

Bauer Spezialtiefbau awarded Contract for Palm360 Project in the Emirate of Dubai

 

The Emirate of Dubai is constantly attracting attention with spectacular construction projects, unique design concepts and exceptional superlatives. Not only does it feature the world's tallest building at present – the 828 m-high Burj Khalifa – in the city on the Persian Gulf, it is also renowned worldwide for the artificially built island of Palm Jumeirah with its villas, holiday homes and hotels. The Bauer Spezialtiefbau GmbH subsidiary in Dubai was already playing a key role in the construction of the island in 2004. Vibro techniques were used to consolidate over 10 million m³ of sand and the subsoil was stabilized for the future development.

Renovation of the Battersea Power Station: Bauer executes specialist Foundation Engineering Works

 

The Battersea Power Station, located on the south bank of the River Thames in Nine Elms, London, was constructed in the 1930s. "Schrobenhausener Tage" Symposium on Renovation Projects, technical Innovations and changing Values

 

The "Schrobenhausener Tage" symposium was a complete success once again. Approximately 250 customers, partners and friends of the company accepted the invitation of Bauer Spezialtiefbau GmbH to attend the traditional "Schrobenhausener Tage" event in Schrobenhausen in mid-May. Dr. Tilo Klinner, director of foreign trade at Germany's Foreign Office, was among the guests. This year was the first time that attendees, who had traveled from all over Germany, were welcomed by Arnulf Christa, the new Managing Director of Bauer Spezialtiefbau GmbH. In keeping with a long-standing tradition, Walter Haus, member of the Management Board and head of the domestic business unit at Bauer Spezialtiefbau, hosted the event.

Preview: Bauer Maschinen Group at bauma Conexpo Africa 2015

After its successful premiere two years ago, the construction equipment trade fair bauma Conexpo Africa will open its doors once again from 15 to 18 September 2015 in Johannesburg. The Bauer Maschinen Group – the world market leader in the development and manufacture of equipment for specialist foundation engineering – will participate this year as well, exhibiting machines especially selected for the South African market. The Bauer team is looking forward to greeting numerous visitors at stand T2-130 in the open-air area of the Johannesburg Expo Centre.

Schwarzkopf Tunnel Bypass – Bauer Spezialtiefbau participating in a major Project of Deutsche Bahn

Deutsche Bahn (German Railway) is having a new track section between Wuerzburg and Frankfurt constructed. This section is mean to replace the existing passage through the Schwarzkopf Tunnel. Bauer Spezialtiefbau GmbH from Schrobenhausen in Bavaria, Germany, will carry out the specialist foundation work in a joint venture with Alfred Kunz Untertagebau, Baresel GmbH, Schaelerbau Berlin und der Leonhard Weiss GmbH & Co. KG .
