Traditionally, large trade fairs such as Bauma in Munich offer an opportunity to present new developments in construction equipment technology to a wider professional audience. For years, RTG Rammtechnik GmbH, a company of the Bauer Maschinen Group, is impressively demonstrating its long-term commitment to innovation with a range of new features for the RG telescopic leaders.
Although Bauma China only reported around 80,000 visitors this November, a drop of more than 60% compared with the event two years ago, the organizers were still satisfied. Ultimately, the exhibition also sent an important signal for the construction equipment industry as the largest event of its kind since the outbreak of the pandemic. “There were fewer guests at this Bauma than in previous years, particularly due to the lack of international visitors, which was of course due to the current situation. Nevertheless, this meant that we were able to take more time for individual customers and potential clients, and engage in highly valuable conversations,” remarks Marc Scheib, Executive Director of Bauer Equipment Shanghai.
Um das Abwassersystem der unterfränkischen Kulturstadt Aschaffenburg fit für die Zukunft zu machen, wird aktuell in unmittelbarer Nähe zur historischen Altstadt ein neues Abwasserbauwerk für das Mischwassersystem der Stadt errichtet. Mit Blick auf das imposante Schloss Johannisburg und in der Nähe der Willigisbrücke entstehen im Uferbereich des Mains zwei abwassertechnische Bauwerke, die in einem Komplex zusammengefasst und ausgeführt werden: ein Regenüberlaufbecken mit 2.000 m³ Fassungsvolumen sowie ein neues Abwasserpumpwerk. „Da der Main in diesem Bereich ein sehr beliebtes Freizeit- und Naherholungsgebiet ist, soll nach Beendigung der Gesamtbaumaßnahmen oberflächlich wieder eine Grünanlage das Bild prägen“, erklärt Mona Feilner, Projektleiterin bei Bauer Spezialtiefbau.
Beim Projekt 2. Stammstrecke München wurde am 1. Oktober 2020 ein weiterer Meilenstein erreicht: Die letzte von 60 Primärstützen im Baufeld des zukünftigen zentralen Aufgangs des Hauptbahnhofs wurde erstellt.

Er folgt dem Norweger Kjetil Tonning und wird das Präsidentenamt des europäischen Bauspitzenverbands zwei Jahre lang, also bis zum Sommer 2022 ausüben. „Gerne übernehme ich dieses Amt in einer für Europa schwierigen Zeit“, so Thomas Bauer. Bereits seit 2017 war er Mitglied des Präsidiums der FIEC und leitete in dieser Funktion den Bereich Wirtschaft und Recht. Von 2011 bis 2016 war er Präsident des Hauptverbands der Deutschen Bauindustrie.
Anyone setting foot in Diamaltpark in the Munich district of Allach-Untermenzing is entering a historic site. It was here that, in 1903, the production of diastatic malt extract was started. It was a revolutionary ingredient that made the manufacture of bread and baked goods possible in the quantities that we are now accustomed to. Today, three heritage listed buildings at the center of the former factory site remind us of the illustrious boom period of Diamalt AG: A soup seasoning factory, a workshop building and a machine and boiler house. They will in future be landmarks in a new district that is being built on and around the empty site.

Heute erinnern drei denkmalgeschützte Bauten in der Mitte des ehemaligen Fabrikgeländes an die glanzvolle Gründerzeit der Diamalt AG: Eine Suppenwürzfabrik, ein Werkstattgebäude sowie ein Maschinen- und Kesselhaus. Sie sollen künftig als Wahrzeichen eines neuen Stadtviertels dienen, das nun rund um das leerstehende Areal entsteht.
Las Vegas und Show – das gehört zusammen. Auch wenn in diesem Jahr aufgrund des Coronavirus natürlich vieles anders war als sonst, so öffnete die Conexpo-CON/AGG dennoch vom 10. bis 13. März wieder ihre Pforten. Mit einer Fläche von rund 2,7 Mio. m² und mehr als 2.300 Ausstellern war sie erneut die größte Baumaschinenmesse Nordamerikas. Auch Bauer Equipment America, Inc., das US-Tochterunternehmen der Bauer Maschinen Gruppe, war mit von der Partie und präsentierte am gemeinsamen Messestand mit der Equipment Corporation of America (ECA) zahlreiche Neuentwicklungen sowie bewährte Spezialtiefbautechnik.

With an area of about 2.7 million m² and over 2,300 exhibitors, the Conexpo-CON/AGG once again was North America’s largest Construction Trade Show. Bauer Equipment America, Inc., the US subsidiary of Bauer Maschinen Group also took part and, sharing a tradeshow booth with Equipment Corporation of America (ECA), presented several new developments as well as tried and tested specialist foundation engineering technology.
