Fugro has been awarded a contract by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to perform high-resolution topographic lidar base mapping for the Republic of Palau.

Implenia, together with project partner Hochtief, has been awarded the contract to build the 2.2-kilometre-long Altona noise protection tunnel on the A7 motorway in Hamburg. The net contract is worth a total of around EUR 580 million. Implenia will take the commercial lead on the project, working as part of a joint venture in which Hochtief has the technical lead.

Fugro in the Caribbean has received a contract award from Petronas Suriname E&P B.V. (PSEPBV), a subsidiary of Petronas, for the provision of positioning services for an exploration programme in Block 52, off the coast of the capital Paramaribo in the Guyana-Suriname Basin.

Essential services provider Ventia has been awarded a significant contract with Telstra. The three-year Field Optimisation Contract has estimated revenue of $570 million based on expected volumes.

Metso Outotec will deliver new, smart flotation cells to GTK Mintec’s pilot plant in Outokumpu, Finland. The delivery consists of approximately 20 pilot flotation machines and additional equipment. GTK Mintec is replacing the flotation cells to modernize and expand its services. The new flotation cells will support the improvement of the monitoring of beneficiation studies and process design.

Fugro has been awarded three geotechnical investigation contracts for IJmuiden Ver, the largest offshore wind farm (OWF) zone to be developed in the Dutch part of the North Sea.

Skanska has signed a contact with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration on building a motorway between Bærum and Hole municipality in Eastern Norway. The contract is worth about NOK 3 billion, about SEK 2.9 billion, will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the fourth quarter 2020.

Cimic Group’s minerals processing company, Sedgman, has been awarded two contract extensions by QCoal to continue to operate and maintain its Sonoma and Byerwen mines processing plants in Queensland.

Skanska has signed a contract with the City of Oslo on ground works for a new metro station in Fornebu, just outside Oslo, Norway. The contract is worth NOK 497 M, about SEK 470 M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the fourth quarter 2020.

Skanska signed a contract with Statkraft Energi AS for the refurbishment and upgrade of four dams and one flood gate. The contract is worth NOK 508 M, about SEK 485 M, which will be included in the Nordic order bookings for the third quarter 2020.

Webuild Group’s U.S. subsidiary Lane has won a $93-million Poinciana Parkway Phase 2 design-and-build contract in Polk County, Florida, less than a week after receiving a $176-million toll-road contract in Texas, further consolidating its leadership in road work in the United States.

Parsons Corporation announced that the company has been selected by the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA) as one of five engineering firms for a three-year $50 million task order contract. Parsons will support an unprecedented plan for expansion, rehabilitation and state of good repair projects that will improve the safety and service of the Metrolink System and its facilities.

Fugro has been awarded a 5-year contract by the City of Dallas Department of Aviation to provide quality assurance testing services for all upcoming construction projects at Dallas Love Field Airport, Dallas Executive Airport, and Dallas Vertiport.
