Beumer Group acquires full Control of the FAM Group of Magdeburg

The FAM Group of Magdeburg, a supplier of conveyor systems and loading technology, is now wholly owned by the Beumer Group, Beckum. Beumer is an international leader in the manufacture of intralogistics systems for conveying, loading, palletizing, packaging, sorting and distribution. The purchase agreement was signed in early May and legally concluded on June 9, 2022.

Akobo’s hits visible Gold at new Record Depth

Akobo Minerals today announced that it has intersected visible gold at 282 metres vertical depth, as well as seeing signs of further potential gold mineralisation in several sections along this latest hole. All indicators point to a belief that the Segele mine can be sustained for much longer than previously envisaged.

South Harz Potash: Drilling commences at Ohmgebirge

South Harz Potash Limited (ASX:SHP) announce that drilling has now commenced on drill site OHM-02, the first of two confirmatory holes located within the flagship Ohmgebirge Mining Licence (Ohmgebirge) area of its 100%-owned South Harz Potash Project. This hole is scheduled to be completed in early February and will be assayed for chemical composition immediately once core is withdrawn.

Sibanye-Stillwater receives top tier Rating from CDP on its first Water Submission and another high Rating for its Carbon Disclosure

Sibanye-Stillwater (Tickers JSE: SSW and NYSE: SBSW) announced that it received an average ‘A-’ rating for its ‘Water Security’ by CDP, a non-profit global environmental disclosure platform. It was the first time that the Group participated in the Water Security category and benchmarks higher than the Global and Africa regional average of ‘B’, and the metallic mineral mining sector average of ‘B-‘.
